Storytime! ~ | Teacher's Day at My School!

Hello! And assalammualaikum...

Hai! Dan assalammualaikum...

*cracks knuckles* Okay! So, after two weeks of telling that I was alive, I am going to actually write one.....lol. Sorry, but you know me, lazy ;p But anyway! I am going to be writing about the Teacher Day's celebration at my school! Enjoy!

So, on the 19th of May 2017 (Friday), my school held a Teacher's Day! That week was actually exam week, so at first, I was kinda pissed, but it's a good way of relieving my stress from the exams hahaa. Aanyway, the day before it, during our daily night prep, my batch received our batch shirts! The design looked soo neat! But the sad part was, they misspelled my dad's name ;u; My father's name is very unique and it is AWFULLY common that people mistaken it...Aaahh... I literally was raging that whole night, telling that I do not want to wear that shirt...boohoo.

Right after we got our shirts, the librarian teacher wanted to see me (Because, I am the committee member for my batch) and she wanted me to call all the librarians (except my seniors) and wanted us to sell a few items for the library. Unfortunately, it wasn't our luck because night prep ended as we started to sell >_<. But it was okay, the teacher wanted us to sell the chocolates during Teacher's Day. We all agreed and went back to our respective dorms.

Buut anyway! Since I was a new student last year, I didn't do much for my teachers, due to me not knowing them very well. So, I made a bunch of nice cards for them! Even if it's not much, but I can't really buy anything because I was in a fully-residential school...soo yea. I couldn't make myself sleep early that night, due to the excitement rush! But, of course, I did. I actually woke up quite early, around 4:30 a.m. to take a shower and get ready. Around 5:20 a.m., I already finished wearing my shirt, my 'tudung', took my bag and went to the mussolla.

 Every Friday, I have my duties to clean up the mussolla with my friends, Nozomi and Aleyin, so I have to be ready for school during Subuh prayers and not return to my dorm. Of course, before I leave, I would sometimes do my duties first, or inform them that I will not be back at my dorm. As everyone left the mussolla, me and Aleyin would usually go down to the dining hall and have our breakfast first. After a while of cleaning, Nozomi would come and help us. At around 7:15 a.m., we finish, and we went down, only to see people in their respective batch shirts.

They all look so amazing! There's a batch whose shirts with pink, yellow, and black! My batch's shirt colour were cream ^^ I managed to stumble upon my friends, Ayla and Sayuri who were fasting that day (poor them) That morning, we had to do some zumba when suddenly...."Excuse me, is there a librarian with the name Sarabelle Roberts?" My batchmates started to scream out 'yes while I was screaming "NOPE. NU UH. SHE DOES NOT EXIST." But I had no choice, so I ran up to find the librarian teacher. She informed to me that those chocolates were on her table, so I had to go and get it after that zumba warm-up.

The zumba was really weird. The dance moves were really awkward, and they played bunch of songs that I didn't like. (aka. K-Pop) Sorry, I have never really been a fan of K-Pop. But anyway, right after that zumba, we were allowed to play with the games, and do whatever we wanted to. Since the librarian teacher wanted me to sell those chocolates, I decided to invite my juniors to help me and sell them. Even if Sayuri wasn't a librarian, she also help us. We managed to sell a lot of them, because they were so damn good! After a while, my senior K. Natsumi (K. is referring to "Kak" which means sister in the Malay language) kidnapped me and took a photo with me, along with a few other seniors her age.

At around 10:30 a.m, all of the students were acquired to be at the main hall. I decided to sit with Sayuri and I had my juniors manage the chocolates. After all the students were seated, the teachers enter the hall. I think the teachers felt like celebrities at that point, because as they all entered, everyone gave a round of applause. I was really happy to see our teachers. Afterwards, there was a speech by the headmaster, the senior assistant and the head student and then, a performance by the students according to batch! My batch did a traditional korean dance, and let me say, they look  A M A Z I N G ! I was completely blown away by their performance. After all the amazing performances, we were all needed to got to the Dining Hall and continue the celebration there. The meal was delicious! That was also the place where they announced all the winners (among teachers that is) and we finished our celebration there. We all went to our dorms, and fainted. (Heck of a sleep)
